Obituary of Evelyn Rita Marentette

At Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham, on Monday December 14, 2020, Evelyn Rita Marentette, age 94, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Alphonse Marentette (2007).  Born in Chatham in 1926, daughter of the late Ida (Rouillier) and Felix Bourassa.  

Loving mother of Denise Marentette and friend Guilda Ziler, and the late Shaunn Marentette (2019).

Evelyn was a Hairdresser by trade and a member of St. Joseph’s Church, a member of the Catholic Women’s League for over 66 years and a member of Les Dames de Ste Anne-Pain Court.

Predeceased also by a brother Raymond Bourassa (2003).

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Thursday December 17, 2020 from 2-4 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday December 18, 2020 at 10:00 AM in Blessed Sacrament Church.
