Obituary of John Francis George Rupert

Peacefully, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Friday, March 26, 2021, John Francis George Rupert, age 85, of Chatham, beloved husband of Elizabeth “Betty” Rupert. Born in Leamington, son of the late Ethel and Earl Rupert.  

He will be sadly missed by his children, John (Marilyn), Chris (Pam), and Brian (Maria), his grandchildren, Jack, Sam, Aaron, Christopher, Luke, Sebastian, Cadence, Ally, Emily, and Marshall and a great granddaughter Charlotte.   Survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by a granddaughter Angelique Rupert, a sister Pat Laing, and a brother Dennis Rupert.  

In his spare time John created beautiful stained glass windows and lamps, a skill he was happy to share with and pass on to his grandchildren. He was also a very talented pianist.  

John has been cremated.
