Obituary of Robert Goudreau

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Robert Donat Goudreau, on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance. Beloved husband of the late Madeline (Donahue)(2007). 

Born in Dover Township in 1927, son of the late Rose and Samuel Goudreau.  

He will be sadly missed by his  children, Diane St. Pierre (Leo Duquette), Patrick (Phyllis) Goudreau, and Elaine (Brad) Toomer, his grandchildren Erica (Tim), Christopher (Rachelle), Anne (Adrian), Joe (Andrea) Laura, Bruce (Marie), and Jennifer, and his great grandchildren, Bailey, Joshua, Brooklyn, Aubrey, Della, and Daisy. Also sadly missed by his sisters Mae Marchand and Yvonne Sterling and many nieces and nephews.    

Predeceased by his son Richard Goudreau (2019), his brothers, Harry, Jerry, Vince, Norm and Romeo, and his son in law Gerry Meyer(1981).   

Bob worked at Ontario Steel and the Township of Dover for many years.  He loved hunting and fishing and spending time with family and friends. 

Cremation, then burial of cremated remains will be in Immaculée Conception Cemetery, Pain Court.
